Here are some very early screenshots of my new wip! Obviously a lot will change, especially with the terrain area, this is mainly to show the layout. Update: there are now 2 levels of terrain on the left. May add a 3rd level eventually. Most of the footpaths on the right will be enclosed by a large forerunner structure. And there will be a large pit in the middle under the light bridge. Planning on 1 flying vehicle, mongooses, warthogs, and a ghost on each side. But that could change. Most of the aesthetics of the map are still up in the air. It could be lava in the pit, or water. It could be asteroid or glacier terrain. Any feedback would be appreciated!
wow, that's really cool! I've never seen that terrain before, neither have I seen a light bridge like that, and good work on the forerunner aesthetic over all, I always say that it isn't a true halo map without a dueling forerunner bases!
Thanks! I am trying to go for a classic forerunner aesthetic, with a few twists, and set on a volcanic / lava world.
Making some more progress on my upcoming btb map. Above is a screenshot showing a cross section of the interior of one of the forerunner structures and below is a top view of the map.
More progress on the Halo CE area remake. It's slow and frustrating. You never realise just how many different angles and details the Halo CE architecture actually uses until you try to replicate it. Suffice it to say, I have had to cut a LOT of corners, and there will be more to come. The underground area is also coming along, but I will show that off another time.

Rocket lift, garden ramp, & custom OS control is open to breaking setup. You can double nade the side lifts away. Lift control? It plays better in hardcore settings. The spawning is different than OG H3 by spawning next to your team mates and is making the forge maps feel way too open. The bases feel too open. I'm back to the forge process removing the base wrap around so it's not so disorienting to the player. MLG Amplified base spawning fix 'SG BETA T1' I got rid of that trouble spawn on top base Amplified I fixed it by modifying the front base and all 4 corners. The forging looks like somebody unleashed a tornado in foundry and is temporary. Going back through the waywo for a video on the last 5 years of forge, and man... Nostalgia. I'm happy and sad reading all of this. Miss you guys. @qrrby Where you at buddy?
