Those responses are very depressing. I can understand Plaza and Coliseum, but any other disc maps can be replaced with far better 2v2 forge maps. Issue is, people are immediately turned off by the word "Forge", which I can only assume is prevalent because of people not wanting to branch out of their comfort zone, along with the history of poorly designed or heavily breakable Forge maps put into matchmaking. **** sucks
I personally think that there should be a rotational list for the maps in all game types based on the hour. 1- 5 minutes one map, next 5 minutes is a preset map and so on. This would reduce the absolutely horrid replay of one or two maps over and over for some reason that happens now... The community can be told that’s how it will work or not... If they know and don’t like 20 minutes worth of the maps at that time that they don’t like, they can play a different playlist. Eight different maps for doubles each hour would keep a nice variety. Better yet is 8 disc maps and 8 forge maps. You get one of the two random disc and a forge map per 5 minute blocks. Base it on when all players are found, not when they cue so they can’t abuse the system. My votes for disc 2 vs 2’s are Mercy, Plaza, Molten, Rig and Eden (All other maps Truth, Regret, Coliseum, Tyrant and Empire are ok but are literally all circles with something in the middle which creates stale gameplay... Mercy as well, but that’s my one donut choice) Forge maps for 2 vs 2’s Optic Prison Asymmetric maps And any other map that isn’t a donut only and doesn’t have a prisoner top down shoot at spawns layout...)
looks like everyone just wants vanilla maps, a few people saying they don't want forge maps at all, popular votes being plaza truth and regret... All the forge maps i consider to be ~top 5 aren't even MM ready all of which need some fine tuning

I'm totally excited about the idea of old file-shares coming along but I also I was wondering what they were going to do about accounts that no longer exist. I know that the files still existed because for the longest time I would download maps off of gamertags that were no longer in use. I'm not sure what's become of this now. My solution that I recommended years ago was that they just add a prefix or suffix to the gamertags so that if someone is taking them over we can still access the old maps.
I'm curently working on an infection map. It has a warthog run with falling meteors, and jump puzzle, survive in a forest, a mongoose run, and a maze. It's set on Alpine, and because there is a few vehicle runs I decide to give the zombies linear spawning. This has caused me to use up alot of scripting. (still in the green) When I tested the game out in infection, I noticed some of the scripts, but not all, despawned or dissapeared after the first round. Does anyone know what is causing this, and how to fix it?
