Here's '1 Hour Map' #2. Goal was to keep some of the main design philosophies of Tron, while changing up some others.
That's why I always come back to Halo, so full of great mysteries! Like how does Johnson survive Halo CE despite dying EVERY mission? And who made Storm Peaks?
actual footage of soldat being a mysogonist beating his wife! https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/soldat-duchrist/video/74898564 ...in halo!
People don't make Intelligent design documentaries because: "Designers don't put that much thought into their designs" I'm guilty of this at times. Sometimes I'll flesh stuff out and think it through before even turning on the xbox, while other times I just start placing blocks with a goal in mind and see where I end up. "Takes a lot of effort to thoroughly detail the design process" It takes a ton of time. To add another reason, they don't want to look like idiots. They're fearful of putting the decisions behind their designs down in ink for all to criticize. And the community that used to be here is the major culprit for that fear. If the forgers thoughts were received better I think we'd see people sharing their design philosophies more. I've seen that change a little in recent months but I hope it continues to get better. I hope you guys can breed a community of camaraderie and mutual knowledge growth instead of the mockery and knowledge bashing of the past.
i'm glad you're not doing a rustic theme, i wanted to get out of that trend with my current map but i just couldnt help myself they are too artistic i've wanted to try my hand at a space station theme for awhile now but just keep defaulting to the rustic themes
If nothing else, trying to speak your 'process' out loud will probably tell you more about your own limitations and where you need to go from there than anything else you could do. Even if you never share it. I have like 30 documents on my desktop of a 'claim' or hypothesis, because typing it out and trying to distill my thoughts into something that would be easy to teach is effectively self-teaching.
