I think it has some potential. With a 2v2 version I'd hope to see a lot more interaction with the water and canals though. Like I'd like to some Venice like **** with like boats on the water you can hop across and thin canals etc.... I'd imagine you're going to change it up quite a lot for 2v2
That’s cold bro, no need to hurl insults bro, this is a peaceful place bro And dude, yeah, build that **** - I commented on NLD about the complexity, but the really cool things about it are the windows, angled platforming, and the way it extends longitudinally and folds back over on itself without allowing motion between those areas. The first map I ever posted here was a breakout map going for something similar, but I didn't really know what I was doing
Two concerns: Perimeter heavy flow. What incentive does a player have to leave the safety of the perimeter? Predictability. When a player cuts line of sight, how many options do they have from that position? Both potential issues could be addressed with a more streamlined perimeter and controlled flow. It has donut-like qualities. Theres nothing wrong with that, its just good to keep in mind the type of gameplay donut layouts provide and determine if you want your map to have those qualities. A lot of really cool lines of sight though. You should build it.
if it wasnt for the fact that 4v4s are really hard to get lobbies for i would like to see the 4v4 instead of 2v2, been a while since we had a good 4v4 map to look at
Has anyone noticed that there is a small window where you can jump even when you walk off a platform, im pretty sure that was in some of the older halo games as well. If you go back to like Halo CE for example, it doesn't have this feature i think it's a good example of a quality of life feature to compensate for the delay in both input and player reaction time whats funny is when you are in forge, if you hit jump rightafter you bake lighting and spawn in as a spartan you can jump in midair, it'a really hard though, very short window
Kinda had a feeling you would just make a 2v2 variant, but I still stand by you making it because I always like playing custom content from people I know and like. Chop chop
I think you're right, but I'll never finish it On that note, anyone should feel free to copy any encounters they liked from the map
