After writing my last poem, I decided it'd be nice to create another. This one is based on the perspective of a Spartan soldier. "I am no hero, I am become death, I am the greatest grief the enemy has met. I am no hero, I do not save the living, yet I walk to death's door and only keep giving. I am no hero, I am the broken hearts of brothers, I am the screams and cries, of torn apart mothers. I am no hero, I'm the parent that won't come home, I am the traumatised child that is left on its own. I am no hero, just another demon in green, I'm just another mindless, timeless... worthless killing machine. I am no hero."
