You know me, I always nitpick remake aesthetics. I think your colors are bit less Valhalla and Ragnarok, and a bit more gloomy dark Forge World. At least that's the vibe I'm getting at this stage. If it were me, I'd make the distance fog slightly more like periwinkle to feel closer to the original. Maybe the rock style is fine, but it does feel more gritty than ever. The river is 10/10. Other than that, I love the new shapes. I can't wait to play this because it will almost certainly play better than any Valhalla ever.
We took some liberties in hopes of it looking better, it’s evolved a bit from the original in order to feel like you are on the original, but fresh.
To say you got it right or did tremendous Forging is the understatement of the century. Phenomenal from top to bottom and you guys did NoGodAnywhere proud with elements reminiscent of his mixed with the masterfully crafted new and its perfect.
While working on this with a few people, @Foge and I had discovered a 400 something piece covenant cruiser prefab under the canvas! We were baffled, lol. We had worked very hard on getting the performance right, but after that... it was better hahaha!
