I'm being serious. This is a real competition. First place will literally get a Bad Dragon of their choosing. Join in on the fun
Lmao i totally agree dude! The contests lame judge guidelines need more of this, it has WAYYYYY to much emphasis on something as unimportant as gameplay. We need to focus more on the actual important things like the art and style of a map because I mean who wants to play on some bland looking map LOL. Besides losers of course, but I know that none of us here are those xD.
The distinction isnt arbitrary. Sports have scores based on a clearly defined system. There is no room for interpretation or personal judgement to determine a goal, or run, or basket, or touchdown. No matter what parameters you come up with, you wouldnt be able to determine whether Deck 16 or Lost World is better without your personal preferences coming into play. And your final score wouldnt really matter, because they’re both wildly popular and successful competitive maps for their respective titles.
Make a hypothetical example and you get randoms coming out of the woodwork to call your maps garbage lmao that's the last time I use rhetoric.
"there is no room for interpretation or personal judgement to determine a goal, or run, or basket, or touchdown" then what is a referee you clown
Just need to build the rest of the cathedral (outside of the front face and the spires it's literally a box with a roof), some terrain, and two covered staircases. The tower can be duplicated to the other side for the most part. I expect this to be playable and released within 3 days from today.
Had a feeling someone would misinterpret that statement. The definition of those things arent up to interpretation. Clown. At what point does good flow become bad flow? Or balance? Or any other aspect of gameplay? There is no line to cross or hoop to go through. There is no absolute way to judge these parameters. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sorites_paradox
