They need to get rid of the DMR, Storm Rifle and Binary Rifle. All redudndant unnecessary weapons.

 

The DMR only made a little sense as a weapon in Halo in Reach because the BR didn't exist. They don't both need to be in the same game.

 

ESPECIALLY with the Light Rifle in the game.

But 343 doesn't get it for some reason. Light Rifle should replace both the DMR and Binary and then they don't have to touch it. But nah, let's have 4 primary rifles, and then spawn you with a Magnum that just a weaker version of them.

Every time they have a decent idea (Light Rifle, Extraction, Mantis) they drop the ball.

 

The idea of picking up "better utility" weapons is just flat out stupid and always has been.

It's like they got way too caught up in the idea that there could be a UNSC, covenant, and forerunner version of every type of weapon without thinking if there should be.

Seriously, there's three versions of every ****ing gun in this game. And it still feels like there's only 2 or 3 weapons that are fun and satisfying to use.
