What Are You Working On?

TURTLE builds are for the weak. I am just so used to playing the roll style because of DS1 because of invincibility frames. I know they are not really a thing anymore but I prefer to be a glass cannon now because of it. So my buddy and I are having a XMAS party and we might stream some drunk souls. You will see the pinnacle of masochism.

 

New map around 75% done. Does not have a name yet.



it would probably be done by now if the light baking system in Halo 5 wasnt so bad.

I can and I know I could do it well if I took my time but multi has literally read the book on lighting and said he would do it for me so there ya go

 

Nice, just noticed Trello got updated - congrats to the finalists. Definitely a learning experience.

I appreciate the time the judges put in and for the most part, they even managed to work in points in the feedback that I can think about and address, even in a couple of sentences written in note form, which is great and very useful.

But @MultiLockOn - two out of three of your comments don't really make sense to me. The criticism is 100% fine and I'm sure your thoughts are valid, but I don't know how to interpret them and improve my work based on that, which is a shame. I'd like to be able to use your observations to improve as a forger. Will we get any more feedback at any point?

 

I didn't modify my map in any way shape or form other than what Ascend did and me saving it as "Washed Up HCS".

 

How old are you now? 16? I can't remember. /s

I'll be making a video. Any map that's not covered in the video I can discuss in private messages.

 

I really hope they reconsider, Washed Up was top 3 from what I've played. Also, judging by the new name is @Ascend Hyperion trying to make this in to 4v4 map or something?

 

2v2 but I can't say much more than that lol. Yeah I don't think it's very fair. I made sure I "saved as" because I remember the judges specifically said to do that when people were previously disqualified.

I'm going to take 'em to forge hub court.
