    Wow. I'm surprised with some maps that didn't get through. Would love to know more about reasons but I guess that would be a lot of work for the judges. Glad to know I advanced at least.

    Very, very interesting decisions... I think I can see how you're all approaching this.

    My 3-page essay is postponed while I go cry in the corner.

    EDIT+++

    Preview is that japan is planning to come back as an imperial power, and is using the automotive trends caused by the ripple effects of single parent homes in the US and Europe to bankroll such an effort while simultaneously socially reengineering its own populace to return to pre-war glory.

    This is my view of the automotive industry as it stands.

    Also, currently standing at 4.5 pages

    I'm also surprised by some that got through. Guess they were only judging by gameplay at this point so no matter how good some looked, they just didn't play well.

    Don't pay too much attention to what got through and what didn't. There were some maps I didn't mark off for cuts that I very easily could have but refrained because a single redeeming quality. The next cut to the top ~20 will probably speak more to the true quality of things.

    @NOKYARD

    "Static Timed Weapons allows you to spawn your Power Weapons and Powerups at EXACT 2 or 3 minute intervals. You can see this weapon spawning system in the Halo 3 Classic Playlist."

    Does this mean that 2 or 3 min intervals from when it was picked up? Or did Halo 3 (it's been a while) spawn at match time T-120 & 180 intervals no matter what? So, if someone picked it up 1 sec before 2 min passes, someone could theoretically pick it up one more second later?

    The playlist is flawed in the H3 Throwback... It has every single thing on the timers come up at exactly the 9 minute mark (essentially every three minutes on the dot). It used to be on Halo 3 based on the time you picked up the item it would start counting... That added skill to the game, but the playlist keeps things dumbed down for the masses, so hopefully people playing the playlist will enjoy it more even if it isn't true to the original....

    I assume it's meant to mimic how the game was played competitively? That's (essentially) how the timers worked in the MLG playlist.

    Neither. We use bigger. We currently use F-250s and actually just replaced one that had 250k with an F350. I don’t remember what the model is on the Chevys we had or the dodges. They were bigger than rams and Silverados and were diesels.

    I just know that GMC Sierra's have heavier frames that Silverado's and it is what a lot of people use around here for work trucks.

    Well they're the same manufacturer. GMC's are essentially their luxury line if I understand everything correctly. Like Toyota Lexus. I could be mixed up on that though.

    GMC's are usually all around a little higher build quality too.

    The problem I see with this is that it seems there are enough variables in that statement that you could always argue that whatever someone bought was always predestined. The car I bought though out of my price range, ambition or basic necessity, could be argued back on account of job, friends and potentially education. In reality I would argue it was more about luck, timing, and personal preference/experience, with job being used as more of a financial justification. I probably still would have bought it without the job but it would have been harder to justify at my income level.

    I'm not saying there isn't some truth to it but I would argue that many times these types of books or articles try to state things in a way that lets them capture everyone. I can't help but feel that they are being written by psychics looking to diversify.

    I see someone in your life with the letter A -
    :/ . . . .
    - in their name.
    Wow, I have a friend named Tammy, that's amazing!
    Yes that's it Tammy. I see that Tammy loves colors -
    :/ . . . .
    -but prefers shades.
    Oh my gawd, yah Tammy loves black and sometimes grey and white.

    Maybe I didn't capture it right and spelled it out in a weird way. And perhaps the sentence below the blue is more important. That people will defend their choice without really understanding I dunno.

    I think the important part is the "cars are bought emotionally and defended rationally" idea. I haven't put more than a few minutes of thought into that but it makes a lot of sense to me.
