I joined FH because SeanLabs made a video saying that if you post here, you might get featured. I'm now a Community Coordinator and the Writing Lead for ForgeHub. I'm sure Sean has never seen any of my maps.
Well I used it way back in 2010 because young teenage me loved looking at forge maps people made and messed around in them with my cousin. I started in Forge just leisurely messing around and doing a bunch of nonsense, then I just created a mall, it was really basic as forge was new and it was super over scaled, but for my first map it wasn't that bad at all, I even had an elevator but I never came back to it. Then from the Spartan Companies that I only joined for Achilles there were 2 forgers, Generai Pug & ArthurBloodshot. I met Generai Pug and he kinda liked my mall and he asked me if I wanted to forge something and I said yeah. Then I made an account here. I made a Forgehub account to upload, but I commented a lot on others maps, the minigame/customs community is currently dead compared to competitive maps here but its still nice to see what people make. Halo gave me a friend that is as cancerous as me and i'm thankful for that.
I was always into making maps and thought how amazing they were until I came upon this site through looking up forge maps online. I been lurking for a while until demption asked me to join ATN. I would ask people on my friends list to check out my maps and I didn't even know demption did lobbies at the time. lol I just became a member last year. Glad I did because it's awesome helping and playtesting out little creations!!!!
My mother was a Vietnamese **** name Pumbledelphia and I've never met my dad. I came into forge being sexually abused by DarthHuman. Eventually I escaped his bondage fetish lair on alpine and was later taken in by joeact20. I've since risen to the top of the food chain on forge with my giant spider *****. Also don't subscribe to the fox ****. **** the bed yo.
I have no origin all revolve around my giant fat rolls. I watched the big bang occur right under my boob roll.
Worked with members on here back in 2014 during Halo 4's life because of the original Meet Your Maker Forge Contest. Interviewed @xdemption way back when he won. Lurked in the dead times after that when OvR had the site still. Came back and was pretty active when Halo 5 came out and went to a lot of map testing lobbies every week, mainly @Duke of Mearl 's and @MATCLAN 's. Been to quite a few others throughout time until things kinda died down. Last thing I did here was do a Community Spotlight on ForgeHub and interview @SIR IRON WOLF .
I liked Forge since Halo 3. A friend who had the heroic DLC would show off some crazy stuff. Several games later, I now make the crazy stuff.
I used to play Mystic Heroes on Gamecube with my pals. I loved to play as Tai with the lightning bolts. I first tried MysticLightning... wasn't available. Tried MysticStrike ... wasn't available... I felt HxC at the time so I went rogue with the Z and ended up lucky getting MyzticStrike
I joined during Halo Reach era, 2011s Im 6 years over here. Basically, I loved forge world and the way you could create a lot of stuff in there. Amazing test nights and xbox chat parties. Good times.
I joined Forgehub right between the CC fiasco and the Xandrith porn spree. So some of you merely adopted the drama. I was born in it, molded by it.
9 years ago holy ****. I made awful stuff on Foundry that I thought was good. Came here to discover how truly awful it was. Continued making less awful stuff. Still here.
Messed about with forge on my first ever Xbox game (halo 4 - what a place to start) and then went to reach when it was available via games with gold. Forged some terrible nonsense in both while everyone else was playing MCC. Watched forge labs etc. and really wanted to get involved. I finally got an Xbox one just after halo 5's release and got the game. As soon as forge came out it absorbed most of my life. At first I was forging the worst stuff ever but eventually I began to get out there and get more involved in the community. Still have a long way to go but I'm getting there.
My first halo was Halo3 because my friend told me i could make my own maps in an fps. Till this day i still dont give a s*** about the story or the masterqueef but forge is good so thats why i play.
played/forged customs with friends in H3 (like real life friends who also had the game), a few of those friends got introduced to other members online in Reach, which began my online interaction with people 'out in the world'. Started watching THFE, started to recognize the names of key forgers and community members and tried to get into their lobbies. Started forging more seriously cause every forge-kid's dream was to be featured on THFE or Pokephile (still airsoft at the time) but was still pretty bad so never got featured. Halo 4 rolled around, kept forging but focused more on Infection, finally met a 'Forge Youtuber Star' in the form of @PA1NTS, by lucking chance of getting invited into the right custom game, he saw my map Port Koll and featured it (my first real feature ) After that, I started getting more involved in the community, got invited to more Forgehub lobbies, started to get to know people here and there, but didn't really make any other notable maps. H2A rolls around, which shrunk the Halo community excessively, allowing me to get to know 'known community members' and begin to be deemed mature enough to be invited to Forgehub Parties with people such as the THFE test lobbies, Pokephile, ect. Really got to know people through the MYM Squad BTB Contest, and started getting little infection maps featured here and there by PA1NTS, Pokephile, and Insanmiac. Even tried my hand at my first competitive map (Lacuna ). Met @Squally DaBeanz , @thepsychoduck, and some of the others who helped grind my new found interest in competitive design into something I could understand. Near the end of the MYM contest I threw together a block out that I thought was pretty cool but figured I'd just finish it in H5 since the community was dying. You all know that map now by the name Scavenger. H5 rolls around, and I'm a regular on Forgehub and at customs, partaking in the usual 'complain about 343', and talk about how much better Halo 'used to be' even though we 'still love it'. Forge drops, and I begin Scavenger. @Auxiklutch and I begin a modest little youtube channel called Havoc Forging: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoS6WVVL9rDv34PcoJeYLNQ/videos?disable_polymer=1, which grabs the attention of some. Some of the competitive community helps me grind out the kinks of Scavenger. I get it tested in Duck and Mattclan's lobbies. I get invited to a skype chat with some dude from one of the lobbies known as Unyshek. Scavenger gets into matchmaking. That was something I'd dreamed of since Reach, so it was a big deal to me. Duck asks me to join the ForgeHub Video team (THFE had fallen from grace by this point), I become one of those 'Forge Youtubers' for like 4 videos. People start calling me Bob Ross. I google who the hell Bob Ross is. Original ForgeHub Video team falls apart. I return to being a regular on Forgehub and at customs, partaking in the usual 'complain about 343', and talk about how much better Halo 'used to be' even though we 'still love it'. Months go by without much other significant activity. Now we're here. I think that's about it.
