I gotta say, your video quality has climbed exponentially in the past 6 months haha. To be honest, I used to disregard when you posted up a vid lol. I respect your efforts/dedication for the forum and the community bro.
The weapon balance in this game is atrocious. After watching Ascends stream the last couple of weeks, I now regret arguing in favor of a larger variety of weapons in 1v1. #Multiwasright #Chunkeatscrow #Hashtagsarestillcoolright?
Haha well way back when I started I was using Xbox clips and a video editor from 2008. Now I have an El Gato and Adobe Premiere soooo it helps lol. Plus feedback over time/ developing a style. I appreciate the kind words
Check out our 20 man (2 people outside of camera) Game Night (LAN party). Nothing beats same room competition with friends haha.
I went to my last LAN party in Halo reach. That was one of the most fun things I've ever experienced. I get sad thinking that I'll probably never get to go to another one.
Every time we get together, we play Unreal Tournament '99/'04, Battlefield 1942, and Halo: CE with other games sprinkled in here and there.
If I may ask, can you lovely bastards rip my map to shreds, chew it up, spit it out, then display it all for everyone how shitty my forging is? Tanks <3 https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/...Gangsta1_b7cf6137-257b-49dc-b120-85c4bf68b95f In other words, if you're in the feedback-giving mood please give this a look if you can
I do LAN once or twice a year with 5 friends, only H2 or H3. The first time was in 2006 so it has become a big tradition in our now pretty adult group. I hosted the first one and made a big ugly trophy of a toy warthog, some Halo cards, stickers etc. on a painted wooden homemade UNSC standard. We kept score on a big piece of paper (which I've all kept myself) and after all maps FFA the one with the least kills had to take the trophy home and bring it again the next LAN. I wonder who has it because now we just do all kinds of customs. It's way more fun to do a little bit of everything. Also, we get way too excited that week really, like little boys playing at our first Halo party. I love it.
Hey great job man, i appreciate all the effort i know it took to get deployment working. I think you can go much further with this concept... Think of all the potential! How about a doployment that works as a zoning utility, like a slow moving kill volume. Because of the nature of fx and kill volumes, naturaly this deployment could also be used through walls creating some possibly awsome predictions. It would work similer to Overwatch's Hanzo ultimate Consider making a thread for people to pitch their ideas, lots of possability with this
Thanks! I am certainly planning on doing more similar items if this is well received and actually utilized. I will create a thread soon that allows for everyone to brainstorm about new ideas and come up with the next priority of item to try to create. Also, I do like your idea of placable death zones (would probably need to be visible) to change the flow of a map at will. I think I have a good idea of how that might work, and I don't see any reason it wouldn't. Watch for the thread soon... I will call this collection of items "Ex-quipment", which will also be in the thread title.
