I really wish they would change out maps more often, a lot of the forge maps are ridiculously outdated looking. The strange part is how a lot of the best of the best content is almost always tested to near perfection yet they do not add maps often because its "a lot of work" I wonder why they make it so hard on themselves, previous Halo maps had a lot more to worry about exploit wise because of lack of features yet it had a lot more maps being brought into the playlists. Edit Maybe I am ignorant but it really confuses me why there are so many great maps that play well that aren't just shoved into a playlist. What do they need to do to them to get them "matchmaking ready". Is a lot of the process even necessary, and if it is tested so much how come so many maps have had exploits? If testing is so aggressive than why did oddball have points for suicide? I feel like its just a cover up for a very poorly managed system that has to be redone. I mean we had a MASSIVE influx of grifball maps that were quite literally tested to perfection, where are they?
Grifball typically has more maps than any other playlist. We send in maps to refresh the playlist and they just appended them to the current lineup. I asked Urk why they did this and he said it was simply easier to leave them in.
