When MCC launched, the only (pathetic) way you could find people's maps and gametypes was by looking up their campaign mission completion times/scores through the leaderboards (if they weren't online), and on your in-game Roster (which required you to have them added on your friends list to see them on it...). This was a massive pain in the ass (and slap to the face, with the other 9 billion things they did wrong) But on May 29th, 2015, Bravo announced the new title update coming out, and discussed a new "Find Player" feature that would fix this issue... The next day (May 30th, 2015) that update went live, and 343 made a post on it. Just for perspective, it took 343 Industries 6 months and 16 days (or 192 days) to add the ability to search player's FileShares, without having to look them up on a ****ing campaign leaderboard, or have them added to your friends list and have them be online when you wanted to download something... My point being - a lot of players aren't aware of this feature (rightfully so... because 343 sucks) even this far into MCC's launch, and ForgeHub being the place for maps, I thought it would make sense to share this here. I originally edited this screenshot to pin in the 'Halo 3 customs' club (1,000+ followers, 982 members at the time of me writing this... just saying ) to get people more aware. #FIXMCC If you're looking for maps too (specifically Halo 3 mini-games/Infection), here are a few gamertags that contain the motherload of all H3 maps on MCC: Faulk Smash Gnarllama RUSTYNA1LZ rustyfiles rustyfiles2 rustyfiles3
LOL to this day people still ask me if they could download my H2A maps. None of the kids are aware of that feature...
