No, if women didn't serve on the front lines (they didn't) then putting women on the front lines in the game is the definition of technically inaccurate. People may not play Call of Duty for its realism, but when one of the main goals (from the developers lips) is to be as historically accurate as possible, why shouldn't we hold them to that standard? This isn't a small error, this was an obvious and conscious decision to break the standard they set for the sake of being politically correct, and it is absolutely repulsive.
Oh so the nurses were on-field medics, Assembly workers constructed and used their ammo on the front line, and the local mechanics drove tanks. Yeah **** you guys the word ASSISTED now also means SERVED.
Looks like it's finally starting to crumble Not much to do but stay humble Among all the anger and pain Stay calm. Then, go insane
Censoring is bullshit. I'm indifferent about the women. If the put a disclaimer like, "Women were neither drafted nor allowed to perform the ultimate duty for their countrymen. But as this is historical fiction and many of our community are women looking for an immersive experience, where they take up arms against evil with their brothers, we are giving them that ability. This is not meant to diminish the sacrifice of those men who fought and those who died, but to celebrate what they died for--for the freedoms they protected and what those freedoms will one day become--for American men and women," that'd be cool. Maybe not exactly. I'm just spit balling here.
Can confirm. Google apparently hasn't heard of it. It's trench foot of the pu$$y. My HS history teacher taught us about it for some reason. Pu$$y be too damp to serve in already damp conditions haha
I really dont think there is as much of an agenda push as you are making it out to be. I think they added women because many people who play call of duty are women, and they would like to have a customizable soldier that represents them. from what Ive seen of the campaign there were no women, so saying this is an politically correct issue that is trying to censor/change history is just not true. I guess we will only find out when the game comes out.
So you can pick a woman. Who the hell cares? It's a ****ing game. And it's CoD. Historically accurate? No. Fun for the gaming girls? Yes. Will it make them more money? Perhaps.
If they have the swastika in campaign but not in matchmaking then thats a fair enough trade for me. I sort of understand the concept of wanting to keep swastikas out of every COD gameplay on youtube for the next year or more. For how cucked youtube is they'd probably demonetize the game completely if sledgehammer left them in. Yeah its pretty gay, but nazis were gay too so theres a little historical connection there.... i guess.
i'll be honest cod adding female characters to its games makes it infinitely more interesting to me. i haven't cared about playing as a dude since middle school. and it's not like they're changing a male character to a female version like all the SJWs want a female Link for the Zelda games. It's just a randomass female model, who cares? speaking of asses, bungie makes the best in the business.
I can't wait for the inevitable game that features enemies of no particular design, origin, or motive. We no longer understand why they were enemies or what they looked like but we know for sure they had to be stopped. ...Wait, did I just describe Prometheans?
I like having a discussion with conflicting points of view. It makes conversations over the internet 100x better. I honestly dont care, with or without women it will have zero impact on how much I enjoy the game. If some people prefer to play as a women more power to them. If its politically motivated then whatever I don't see a line being crossed.
"By incorporating extreme levels of boredom, incomprehensibility, and no gameplay-linked expository information, Halo 4 was waaaaaayyyyy before its time, and may be responsible for the great new world of interpretive gaming we are currently experiencing." - gaming "journalist" ca. 2027
So the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_&_Company was definitely not a thing, nor was Samuel Wadsworth Russell's and Alfonso Taft's co-founding of the Skull and Bones. Oh, and they definitely didn't fund the private institutions of Yale or Princeton with money from the opium trade. Also, this entire list is pure hearsay https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Skull_and_Bones_members I mean come on, none of these men actually influenced America in anyway, especially not HW Bush or his son George and his opposing presidential candidate John Kerry who is also a member. You're actually just willfully ignorant If the Skull and Bones influence on America doesn't deeply trouble you. But it's all a big joke right xandrith? Please tell me ive just smoked way to many blunts and my eyes and hazy smoky mind are just lying to me?!
Classic Xandrith post. Ignore all valid points and move on to argue about something else. You literally just said that giving a counterpoint is to argue unrelated topics. p.s. look at the Soviet Union portion of this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_World_War_II#Soviet_Union Also this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_women_in_World_War_II
