I haven't said that Tracer has a low skill ceiling. I would say that she has a medium to high skill ceiling compared to other hero's, but not the highest. You're moving the goalpost again.
The more I look at the skill ceiling list Salty posted the stupider it gets. The fact that zenyata was so low, and ANA was lower than Hanzo like what the **** ahahaha http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/MultiLockOn/video/31867362 "Tracer has the highest skill celiing" what a joke Sombra is everything about tracer but you have to be creative.
Alright so I've been thinking of making some cool ass **** Imagine two teams, 4v4, 6v6, whatever, is in this big dungeon that's built almost like a maze. It's only one floor, but the dungeon itself has general weapons and power-ups in high-traffic locations to fight for. But, it also has hidden powerful stuff behind illusory walls, breakable doorways, obscure tunnels, all that jazz. But the best **** of all is vehicles like a ****in' Gunner mongoose driving through long hallways mowing down baddies like crazy, or a Mantis that just stomps ominously and you hope it doesn't find you before you can find a Plasma Pistol or something. And so the aim of the game is to find the ball in the middle of the map and have one of your characters hold onto it, and when you're holding it you have a Radar that you can use to tell your team where the enemy is coming from. I've already thought of making a basic dungeon, a dwarf's domain with lava falls and molten pits that you can traverse for a split second to get some kind of weapon, a jungle ruin above water where you can hop across open areas, and a futuristic derelict underwater plant that has shield doors and flying vehicles that can fly through the halls. Gimme some feedback, I gotta know if this is something people would be down to play
Me and @Erk were just talking about minigames, and the only suggestion I have would be to have it infection based so the dead players aren't stuck in spectators land
Oh yeah, I prolly should've been clear that players will respawn if they die. It's still gonna be H5 movement, and everyone starts off with Magnums & 2 Frags. The biggest change in gameplay is there's more of a knowledge curve of how to gain the more powerful weapons, along with deciding whether or not to group up with your team or try to figure out the dungeon on your own. It creates a sort of free-form chaos that games like Dark Souls or Doom have in their map design. I honestly think this could potentially be a rad casual gametype; if it gains popularity, people could make their own dungeons with scripting or booby traps. Would be awesome.
Maybe have the intro cinematics tell a story of "runes" or other visual cues to further the mystery vibe as well as give the players key points to look out for?
@MultiLockOn @Xandrith @purely fat You guys ever tried arguing without insulting each other or calling opinions stupid? It gets really old really quick and makes you all look immature as ****.
