I have not seen a good looking 60fps first person or third person shooter on console and Halo 5 doesn't even run at 60fps consistently, so try again.
link something you think highlights it. bringing up framerate is stupid anyway. it doesn't matter as long as it's stable.
Game dips hard on a lot of the maps. It also drops more often if you play certain weapons. Playing Custom Jet is suffering.
Never noticed. Maybe cause I just swim around and n-zap '85. I noticed it more in Breath of the Wild.
Splatoon, though I consider Overwatch to be just one level more "cartoony" than Halo 5. I wish more cartoons looked like Overwatch. Ignoring framerate now, which shooter has the best graphical detail on consoles? I like Titanfall 2, but maybe cause I'm comparing it to H5. Edit: Completely forgot about Battlefront and Battlefield.
Titanfall visually looks like ****, makes sense considering respawn is very small. Infinite warfare and BO3 are crazy on poly counts.
Not to mention BF1's campaign, which Implements the best application of that method yet and runs at 60fps. What's DOOMS native FPS for campaign? --- Double Post Merged, Mar 8, 2017 --- 60FPS is child's play for PC. The consoles will catch up soon enough and you will care for 60fps. I get why your jadeded by them for the time being tho I do.
Nah. For one I'm not some sack of **** who considers framerate a "feature"; I don't care as long as it is smooth.
30 fps isn't smooth but okay lol I def agree that it shouldn't hold back a games potential in other more important categories.
If you're going to list it as a negative for a game when the competition often fails to prove otherwise then you're going to find yourself on my ignore list. Sony ponies used to herald the console's ability to hit 60FPS and 1080p compared to Xbox, and then they started backtracking when they realized that wasn't possible - for either console - without significant sacrifices. That's bound to change towards the end of this gen, but right now I couldn't care less.
