I'm starting up a new series of episodes called, To Catch a Map Thief. So what does that mean? It means we need some thief's to catch If you have anyone that you know steals maps, i dont mean just one map i mean multiple maps, please inform me via PM. If you get a successful thief you will have every right to be in the video of the thief you suggested upon your choice, if you decide not to you may have your name in the credits. Rules for thief's It cannot already be on ForgeHub's black list of map stealers It cannot be a thief already filmed References To Catch a Map Thief Playlist: To Catch a Map Thief: Bushido Elite - ForgeHub Halo Forums Youtube account: YouTube - halo3forge's Channel Sincerely, Smelly taco.
I'm still bitter that my map was not named in the original video! Lol... But I like the idea, I can not wait to see the next person to get busted!
I love the real show, To Catch A Theif its really funny, I think my favorite episode is the one where he tries to break into a police station, almost gets out then fails, then afterwards the burglar is like we stole blueprints and that is worth more than money, the police stated later that they where outdated and would have done jack for the robbers, I lol'd b/c that was the first time I saw them really #fail.
lol jdoerr, the show is good, though that was relatively off topic xD anyways, i just wanna say good luck to the series, considering how difficult it can be to find map thieves to begin with...
Just look through all of Two Salty Nuts thread....there has to be at least 10 map thieves claiming they made that map on that thread alone. I'll keep on the lookout for map thieves.
Do you plan on giving them the same "You know I know that you didn't make those maps, right?" message, or are you going to screw with them a little?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aq3GUXmkI6A&feature=related Watch that. He copied my map Long Road Home. He probably copied others. I dont have any proof of others, but he copied mine. Get him. Get him good.
I think this is a good idea becuase I made a really big ramp on standoff. Yes I got the permission from Sykoone to do it or that would be considered me stealing his map. Now I posted it on youtube and it has over 50,000 views and I have like 5 people saying it is their map. Now if you think about it I made this map yet 5 other people say they made it. To me it seems like they are all lying becuase there is no such thing as 6 people making one map when I am the one who made it. REMEMBER YES I DID GET PERMISSION FROM SYKOONE!
Sandals R. I rpeeatedly got sucked into custom games with this tool. He hasnt claimed anyones maps(havent asked him if "he" made them) but he's always playing maps like tunnel rats renamed "sandals house" on stupid zombie gametypes. I could even help with the setting up of some custums as hes on myt friends list. Think your already on mine so you can find him that way . If you want me to help though(in case you think itll be awkward randomly crahsing his party to catch him) youll have to wait about a week and a half,i have exams them my bros graduation. Oh and for the sake of the videos evil humor, screw with them for ages then just phase in with "too bad it was made by ,blank. about 4 months ago. YOUV JUST BEEN BUSTED....lol SUGGESTION. Use someone (i could do it,or anyone with all the armors) to mimic their armor for a clip at the end where you symbolically throw the theif into a bit of death of some variety. "So sandals any last words?" "Huh?Where am i?" Thrown into a seemingly innocent pit, where in five seconds four dumbsters fired from manncannons splatter him. I suggest using some clever forge contraption each time. PS he may not have stolen them as he may not be taking credit (just being a tool in general renaming maps) so while its unlikely my lead may be a deadend.
I do love the idea of a large contraption killing the individual who has been stealing maps. DO IT! Maybe make a map that spells out "thief" using teleporters after 20-30 seconds....then splat!
sad face..... hmmm, well maybe a gravity lift can remove an obstruction to reveal the words "thief" or something to that respect.
