I see what u guys mean about 343'some problems, but Ivery been forging nonstop pretty much since the new scripted advancement was released. I don't like doing what has already been done before, so EVERY SINGLE THING that I have done has been completely original. It's what I like doing. But anyways, every time I get on it discover new mechanics that I can introduce into a game. That's another thing, is that I like making mechanics for games that arent, necessarily straight for shoot and run for the power weapons. Some of the Examples of things that I have completed for maps are: rpg props like working resources, working shops, working war zone req mechanics etc...I'm just saying u guys are speaking of this game a little too dryly
It doesn't matter how good the editor is if people just flat out don't enjoy how the game plays. Which is why Halo 3 with its building blocks bullshit still had the largest forging community. And it probably always will.
Sometimes I wish I could kick the forge bug, because thinking about it constantly gets frustrating at times. I just can't seem to get over this infatuation though.
I really want to play it/customs in general on good forge maps. But seriously just about every time I've loaded up forge recently, I run around High Guard for a few minutes first.
clearly he figured it out. I thought about coming back to forge something again. I hopped into forge for maybe 5 minutes and decided I could be doing better things with my time.
He stated the other day that he was having some issue with his map layout or something. I don't recall what exactly. So I think it's safe to assume that he figured out why kids love the taste of cinnamon toast crunch.
I haven't figured it out. But should I go with alpine or barrens rocks? Going to use some color/texture scheme of tan/red and concrete/marble.
