Hypertension illuminates a warm fuzzy nostalgic feeling of an old classic. Very well crafted terrain helps the experience flow organically, since most of the map is made of it. Surely a great map to play some customs on, and have some fun. Great job @I SoldierSide I & @SmoknBrlz64

Tied with votes for 3rd place, Chalet sets you inside a cozy resort setting with beautiful views of a winter landscape. The wood architecture creates an authentic feel, and all the windows really give an extended spacial perception. This map has come a long way since its origin. Congrats @TimeDipper

Chronmeister is a very familiar face in the community favorites articles. He is back once again with an industrial themed 2v2 map that has turned a few heads. I was fairly certain this map would receive some praise, and it has done just that. Great job @Chronmeister

Congratulations to @AceOfSpades for his remake of Aerocrest. For those of you who do not know, Aerocrest was first created in Halo 3's Sandbox sky bubble. It has been made several times throughout the lifespan of forge. You can check out the original here.

Surely a revolutionary forge map in its day, and after almost 10 years, it still holds up. The map has been outfitted with a fantasy styled castle theme that is properly executed. Ace has been forging for nearly a decade with his fair share of map features, and has returned with a bang. Thanks for bringing back one of my all time favorite maps.

Well, that wraps up last month's community favorites, and the last batch from 2016. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we have, now go and give these maps a download, and be sure to let us know what you think of the results here in the comments, and remember, every vote counts!

    Thank you.
