_____________ Operation Crimp Link: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=17657044 Youtube Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dpl4kf33TZw Pictures: Overview A Tunnel Part The largest operation in the Vietnam War with 8,000 total troops deployed. The goal was to capture the Vietcong headquarters that was located in Saigon. Sudden ambushes were occurring and so the soldiers knew that the Vietcong were traveling by tunnels. There were orders to go down tunnels and clear them out. Information/Description Objective: to locate the Vietcong’s headquarters in the woods of Saigon. The mission was an Australian and American objective, and was the largest operation in the Vietnam War. The Americans didn’t know where the Vietcong were coming from, so they were ambushed then and there. But soon they realized what was up, they, the Vietcong, were traveling by tunnels. At first the Australians traveled down the tunnels, and then Americans were sent to do exactly that too. They traveled as tunnel rats, or tunnel clearance teams, and cleared all tunnels. This map is on the event of the Australians and the Americans doing their duty to confirm Operation Crimp. Even though in real history, they never found the headquarters, I still thought that this would play a great game play map and would look cool with tunnels, hills, etc. Hope you enjoy it! -ER1C0
