First of all, hello to those of you who still know me! For those of you who don't know me, or need a refresher, my name is Cryptokid! I've been on here since 2007 (made my account January of 08). I remember carefully following the 1v1 tournament and entering the first doubles tournament. Towards the end of Reach and then shortly after the release of Halo 4, like many others I had lost my drive and my activity dropped. With the flexibility of Halo 5, I had a feeling that I would be returning, and now with the release of PC customs, I knew it was time. Way back then during the Halo 3 and Reach days we had TGIF. TGIF was this absolutely awesome custom games night we had every other Friday. When it first started, this thread would go up. You would post in the thread with your gamertag, and who's party you wanted to be in. There would be a list of hosts with what kind of games they'd be playing and you just chose what you wanted really. It was amazing fun and you can actually still find some of the TGIF #x Recap videos on Youtube if you search for them. Anyways, on to the main topic. I was never really a guy who finished maps, and was always more in to hosting custom games. I eventually became a TGIF host, and now with Halo 5 customs on the PC, I'd like to start running regular custom games lobbies. As well, to get back to helping my friends at CreativeForce, I'm going to be running lobbies to help them test and get feedback on their maps. In order to keep myself organized, I'll be using a discord server to see availability of players, keep people informed of what's going on, and just have voice chat. I do realize there are quite a few discords for Halo already, but this one will not be as large as those intentionally. @Cryptokid it is GREAT to have you back in the scene and have you working with CF again man. I miss the old days of TGIF so having this back will be good. Do you have plans for regular testing times or do you plan on winging it based on availability. Also it may be good to get involved with ATN as well as there is an entire database of maps that need to be tested. We can reach out to @xdemption to help out as well. It may be good to have ATN get some representation on PC.
Once I get settled with my school schedule I'm going to try and set up regular testing blocks, maybe more than one per week.
