So, I finally posted Snake Pit, so that is nice to have done. Now that it's out of the way I might start posting pics of Crusader, right now it is very... incomplete.

Man, didn't realize just how much time went into Action Sack. I need to get back into the mix and start forging my own maps, again. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnd I got nothin.
The hardest thing about working on Northern Darkness is remembering to stay focused on 1v1 instead of accomidating higher player counts I've also learned the hydra is a campy weapon that can destroy gameplay flow sometimes. I wish you could just get rid of the lock on mode, turning it into a rapid fire rocket launcher similer to quake
did i mention the thing about the buildings on Crusader? I think you should upscale them just a bit. A lot of the map feels very tight and those transition areas are already chokepoints, so they don't need to be as cramped as they are now.

So I've never posted a WIP before but this is something I've started a few days ago. It's called Pearlescent and its an asymmetrical Forerunner structure floating on that light you see created by those pillars. I only used ramps as blocks for the whole map Kinda lame and cheap I know but also fun to do. Colors change when you walk around the map, hence the name. Not sure about player numbers and gametypes as of now but I placed some weapons and powerups here and there.
How am I supposed to make a realistic looking Nile with this forge palette?! I think Cheops is put on the back burner for now...
what am i working on? i can tell you now i have no map. but what i do have are a very special set of aesthetics. aesthetics that i have acquired over many scrapped projects. aesthetics that make me a nightmare for the forge community. if this post gets enough likes, that'll be the end of it. i will not make a layout. i will not share these aesthetics. but if it doesn't, i will make the map. i will finish it. and i will post it.

I need the sand effect on Nebula, Giza is in the middle of the desert. ^^ Furthermore I need playable space beneath that building, if you know what I mean. Tidal doesn't let me do that. And there's another thing: Wöööööäääääääähhh
