CYCLOTRON By: PA1NTS Map Name: Cyclotron Player Count: 12-16 Players Gametypes: CTF, Team Slayer Description: Cyclotron is a playground for both light vehicles and infantry. The design provides just as many options for vehicles as it does to players on foot. The map's long sightlines can be punishing to players on foot while they traverse the higher levels of the map. This provides players with a choice of either moving through the bottom area of the map while putting themselves at risk of vehicles or taking the higher ground and exposing themselves to the map's punishing sniper sightlines. Although the vehicle circuit may seem confusing at first, vehicles can become an asset if navigated properly. Some routes may seem risky, but there are always sneaky ways out for a skilled driver. Flag placement on Cyclotron should provide for some clutch moments ascending the final base tower. This position forces players to commit and expose themselves to finish the flag run. The map name 'Cyclotron' was the debug name for Ivory Tower. Although this map draws more inspiration from Reflection in terms of aesthetics, I thought the name was fitting for the design. When I played the map I felt that the sniper rifle was too dominant due to the really long sightlines however there are some really cool ideas. I hope to see this map grow
