Hi all! Long time no see. I apologize if this has been posted before, but I am having some issues with my Initial Spawn Points ever since the last update. It appears to only be on new creations, as all of my old maps work just fine, but when I load up the new maps in Customs, the Attacker/Defender initial spawns do not work, and players are placed in various locations via the Neutral spawn points. This is frustrating because I've been forging since day one, and I have made dozens of maps per game. Including this one. And they all work just fine. Any advice?
I noticed the same problem in my infection map. I made the spawns the same way as other people do on their maps, but while testing it yesterday with a group, some players were spawned to those neutral initial spawns in some rounds. I did two fixes to my level, but I'm not sure they will work. Maybe you could try them as well. First I moved the initial spawns a bit further from each other for both teams, and then I changed all the neutral initial spawns priorities from 0 to 1. I think that should force them to use the correct spawns, and FFA should still work.
My map isn't an Infection map, so that doesn't work for my case. My map is actually a remake, so it's imperative that I get this right.
Set all Neutral spawns to "Spawn Order 2" And your problem will be fixed. I had this problem too until I started using 343's Matchmaking map requirements to set up my maps closer to theirs. This will keep teams from spawning on neutral spawns in random locations, but will still spawn players during FFA matches on those points.
