Skullus is the #3 map on my goal of forging seven 1v1 maps.(http://www.forgehub.com/threads/cinders-seven-a-1v1-gauntlet-wip.153409/) I've gone for a minimalist theme. Current pickups are a Fuel Rod (weapon pad), Overshield, Plasma Pistol, Halo 2 BR, and a splinter grenade. It still needs some testing so let me know if you're interested in trying it out. Unique features of this map: The BR spawns without any extra clips but there is an ammo replenish near the Sender teleport. There is a shield dividing the sightline between the Overshield ledge and the High Room, but it can be temporarily destroyed to catch your opponent off guard as they are going for the Overshield. Both back corners of the map (pink, blue, respectively) are set up to have players run tight circles around each other in multiple ways, providing juking opportunities.
Alright Tom, here's what I've gathered from our CF TNT tonight! Spoiler: CF Tuesday Night Test 8/16 / Players did have fun on this one, though felt that the map felt overall cramped. - For 2v2, you'd want to widen all of the halls, and reduce the amount of hard corners. There was almost no dance floor to move around during engagements. - One player spawned extremely close to the CE Pistol, giving her an immediate advantage. I know it's not much for feedback, but it needs more development to make it a 2v2 map. It's fun though, and definitely a good start.
