Your thread does not meet our posting standards and has been locked after neglect. Crazy?? we'll see. I have been working very hard to 'fix' my most hated map and even go as far as to submit it to MLG. What drove me to attempt such a feat? My live is down until summer so I have more time on my hands. Anyway, the map itself is not yet finished so i will not be posting any pictures (sorry to break the rules) but the reason its not finished is that I am not so experienced in forging as far as the small details go. for example, weather or not the spawn points i have will allow the map to play smoothly ext.... without live it difficult to test. Right now the map is set up for MLG TS v5 and MLG King v5. the power weapons include one rocket launcher and one mauler. there is also one custom power up. a few crates have been added to allow players to move about the map easier (just like MLG pit) and the starting points are equidistant from all power ups and power weapons. I am going to need some help once my live is back up (in a few weeks) to work out the kinks. so far it looks promising and the only problem that cant be fixed are all the shield doors on the dark side of the map. so if you are interested, send a friend request to DavidRE69 and I'll accept it when i can
don't post maps until they're finished, there is no point in this thread. i know that it is a work in progress, but it does not belong in map forums, sorry.
All I know is that you need lots of screen doors, at least twice as many that exist now... and all your grav lifts need to have extra punch... and you at least need to have two extra clips for maulers and rockets... set to 30 second respwan.
At the moment they only have, The Pit, Construct, Isolation, Narrows, Onslaught, and I forgot the other one, but I'm sure if the Epitaph remake was good, it would add a twist. If you need testing send a message to BTK Cobra, and I got a load of MLG Friends too
I'm sure there's a place to ask for forging partners etc, i think thats what your trying to do, otherwise don't post without a map
Isnt part of the reason MLG havent included epitaph before is the same as why snowbound isnt there? Shield doors=camping=gay. Also epitaph has a power spot inside which its impossible to dethrone the team inside (above shotty spawn-grab the powers and your laughing) Wouldnt affect king but TS would be ridiculous. Also map section is for finished maps only.If you need help use the shoutbox and "forge discussion"
your absolutely right about the shield doors and i cant fix that. but i have already adressed and fixed that power spot. there is no shotgun and the only mauler is on the other side of the map. the only things left by that 'power' spot are a couple of BR's and a custom
i have one spare clip in both rockets and mauler and they're both set to 120. i havent been able to actually play the map to test anything yet. and there are no shield doors in the forge options (remember its an old map) and what do you mean about the grav lifts?
