Another CTF map I'm working on, but this one is for BTB. I got inspired to do an 8v8 because of the upcoming contest on Halo Customs, and a while later I have a new map. This one is named after a Russian icebreaker ship and is set in a harsh winter environment. I forged it on Alpine so I could have some water in the bottom area, and have done my best to cover up the non white rocks where I can. The map features a circular upper path and two bridges. One is long and elevated and takes you directly from base to base, but it is easily visible and a turret guards the entrance to each base from this route. On the other side of the map is a smaller elevated bridge with a Hydra spawn that's meant to be an alternate route for vehicles. A rocket launcher spawns at the top of the long bridge, and a Sniper spawns underneath the Hydra bridge. In the center of the middle pit area is a Mantis. The pit also contains Camo, a Light rifle, some grenades and various other spawns and bits of cover. Overall, the map is a little bit on the smaller side because it's geared towards magnums, so I hope it'll be hectic fun. I haven't gotten a game on it yet, but I've near maxed out my piece count going to town on this sucka. I'll have to economize some of my piece usage to set it up for Strongholds and some other modes down the line, but I'm feeling good about this one.
