    We're always keeping an eye on what's going on in the passionate and creative Forge community, and lately, we've been keeping a particularly close eye on ForgeHub's 2v2 Map Contest. When the contest submission period came to a close earlier this Spring, a total of 145 maps had been entered for consideration. After months of playtesting and looking at the maps details in Forge, the organizers finally had their top ten. When we heard that they had narrowed it down to the best submissions, our curiosity got the best of us, and we reached out to take a peek at them. After extensive playtesting, and with loving feedback from our Multiplayer, Art, and Pro Teams, they were deemed ready for the open ocean we call matchmaking.

    We're pretty excited about involving the talented community yet again in the Halo 5 experience, and can't wait for you to try out these playspaces for yourself. Without further ado, here are the maps you’ll be playing this week in Community Doubles:

      What settings changes are needed do we feel?

      -Should the respawn be shorter?
      -Should radar be off
      -Should there be items on quicker timers/less ammo to prevent campiness

      I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like it's temporary. The last sentence of the intro says "here are the maps you’ll be playing this week in Community Doubles:"

      In my opinion, contest winners do not necessarily represent the best matchmaking quality maps, as 343 has apparently shown by cutting some of the top contenders.

      After such a long wait for a doubles playlist and after all the work put into forging and testing these maps, dropping doubles would be an absolute joke.

      Well you have called Heads Up a god awful experience and now a huge fail. While this is some pretty solid feedback, I would be interested in hearing some more to help improve the map.

      glad to see personal preferences are peoples issue with my map. crouching ruins every map with the outlier being mine. i was probably the only one who did mostly radar testing. i don't make maps for others. i make them for me. still surprised they liked the power ups. cobalts death pit claims many lives.
