Cool to see you bringing in a Doom gametype to H5 before its release. How extensive is the scripting to make this operate. Do you think it would be manageable for others to do for their own maps?
I plan on making a tutorial at some point for it. I wouldn't say it's hard but it's a bit tedious. Scripting allows for the max of 8 segments of movement per rotation around the map. Certain maps are very possible for it and users could put it on their maps.
Based on this idea, I think it'd be interesting to have buttons around the map that move the stronghold in a certain direction. Obviously the buttons would need to disappear after a press so that the stronghold could not be moved out of the map. In any case, seems like a cool map and gametype.
Cool move on the carbines & light rifles. This looks pretty cool & the map does too. Basically it's like KotH but once you control the hill it moves instead of scoring points by holding the hill.
