I guess for me it is the number of coaches he gets fired and the fact that he chickened out and went and played with the heat. I also hate how ball dominant he is. I don't really like that about Kobe either. He doesn't like playing power forward where he would be even more dominant that kind irks me especially if it can make the team better. Look at the volume Kobe has taken compared to him and jordan based on those numbers. You could say they shared the ball probably a bit more in those moments than him. I know for a fact lebron has. I just like how bad Kobe wants it. I didn't even realize he took that many in the playoffs. I am not the one saying he is clutch. The dude just competed like no other. Lebron is quicker to give up in a game than kobe is. Mental game isn't just the last shot. I was impressed with lebron in last years finals though. He fought hard it was honestly not his most efficient effort but he competed like crazy. Doesn't really stand a chance at all this year. Whether it is Spurs or Warriors he is going to get trounced. That is if a team doesn't upset the cavs which I could see happening this year. Also, he got so many ****ing calls in that pistons series. I was so ****ing frustrated watching that. They blew a whistle nearly every time he drove the basketball. At least it seemed like it. That is probably just the fan in me. I was one of the pistons fans who wanted to keep monroe and trade drummond. Felt like we could have gotten some good picks or pieces. Stan is putting together something pretty solid I think. Lots of pieces the pistons can move. Also, how did you feel about the bucks trading brandon knight? I know I was pissed when the pistons traded him. Didn't Russel force the league to adopt the goal tending rule as well. You should give Isaiah Thomas some love for what he did at his size and what era he did it in. His numbers were not crazy like some guys but the fact that he was one of the best players in the league during the bully ball era is really impressive. Terrible GM though.
I didn't mind the trade. He wasn't the type of PG we were looking for since we needed a less ball-dependent PG who could get Giannis and Jabrari the touches they needed to develop. So with that in mind, it was better to go and try to get something for him as opposed to just letting him ride out the rest of the season with us and inevitably go somewhere else in the offseason. The problem was that we took MCW when we could have taken the protected Lakers' pick that went to the Sixers instead. As for that Pistons series, the reason the refs were so whistle happy is because the NBA actually instituted a few rule changes in response to off-ball and perimeter physicality that was instrumental to the Pistons' championship runs. Mark Cuban, who was one of many to advocate for the new rule, said at a later time "The rule was intended to give offensive players more freedom, but has given offensive players an unfair advantage. It’s virtually impossible to keep perimeter players out of the paint". Those rule changes are basically why we've seen scoring absolutely explode in the last 10 years, and why a player like Lebron has been able to dominate during that stretch. EDIT: Missed your Isaiah Thomas comment, but yea I definitely think he's around top 20-25ish.
Halo and NBA?!? Two of my favorite things, I think I might stay awhile... - but yeah aPK clearly knows what he's talking about here. Sorry Multi, but Kobe is no where close to being top 5 all time. Anyone that thinks otherwise is either a biased Lakers' fan or does not have an extensive knowledge of the history of the game... Legion is great though and can't wait for episode 4! lol.
On top of the fact that offensive fouls are rarely called. Yeah the hand-checking rule really changed the league. I feel like PG needs to be able to score and be a decent shooter in this heavy pick and roll league. Those guys would get their touches from players collapsing on the PG. It is part of what makes Westbrook such an effective player.
Yea they are all collabing on a basketball mini game and are only discussing the NBA to provide real world backing to their design concept
Care to elaborate about this idea? Nobody can help you if you don't tell us anything about your idea. EDIT: Just to make sure I stay on topic... Soccer is the best sport.
Just hopped on our fix and I can tell the difference. I know every time I looked out into the courtyard from the overshield hall I could feel the framerate drop and now I don't see it. Thanks for the fix. And let me know about your testing, I still need to add some what of incentive for the back hall (Yellow Pipes, big windowed hall over looking the road to blue spawn.) Also, I feel like spawn zones are gonna need to be put down because people kept spawning at blue spawn when there was someone in shotgun tunnel. I don't know. I'll have to read up on how to work spawn zones.
I'll give you this, I'm glad you've matured & graduated up to flooding the waywo with NBA instead of Pokemon.
Well both are more competitive than halo and more entertaining to watch. At least more entertaining than Halo 5.
