Jordan best in the game Curry best shooter in the game, he's changing the way shooters are defended (and yes I'm basing this off his so far short career) Russel Westbrook is the current best player in the NBA. He may not put up 30 points every game, but he's a play maker. His triple double stats are unreal.
Westbrook is up there, but I personally think Curry's better than him. The way he throws up shots and they magically fall in almost every time is unreal. Jordan is definitely the GOAT LeBron isn't all that great honestly. And his personality is that of a stereotypical middle school cheerleading captain, arrogant ***.
Kobe Bryant. The goat. Or the goat? Discuss. Also, Lakers are going to start their next rise this coming season. It all depends on the drafts.
Man you beat me to it! When I saw they made this thread I was gonna be the first to post what I was working on here, haha.
nik lidstrom is the greatest defensemen of all time. wait... I personally Leonard is the best player not named Curry. He is arguably the best defender in the league and is a good to great offensive player. Westbrook is a freak though. He still makes bone head plays though.
It's a toss up. Can't deny curry right now. Best in the game at this moment at putting the ball in the basket. And he's getting better with assists and steals. In the same breath it's hard to deny what Westbrook is doing. in my opinion the lakers have been stuck and unable to move on as a team until Kobe retires. All respect to Kobe, but the team will be much better off without him.
Granted, they probably would've been able to get some decent players if they didn't give him such a big salary in his last contract. But that's all they would've been, decent. It's probably better that they sucked these last two years to get better draft picks now, but whatever. I think he deserves the leniency, but my entire family are avid Kobe / Laker fans and that's the franchise I was raised on so I'm obviously bias. Plus we've had season tickets for the Lakers for 12 years.
I'm jealous of those tickets, I went to my first NBA game this yeah and loved it. I actually think the team is full of geniuses. Look at the money they have made keeping Kobe especially now that he is on a retirement run and stayed with the lakers this whole time. I'm just really excited to see what they can do without him because like I said, the past few years he's been slowing their record down.
