I'm not in front of my xbox but it should be possible if you use a power core or other exploding object on a 2 minute respawn in combination with message send and receives on spawn and despawn. I'll test it tomorrow if you're still trying to figure it out
Yeah, but the way I did it is by having it spawn on a platform under water out of reach & i scripted the platform to raise up 1:00 in. It's rather silly that you can't set up a power up to delay spawn like that.

Sounds dumb right? It worked ok for me because I already had a power up on a raising platform so it went with my map. I couldn't keep it from spawning at start. I tried to script it & I tried using its despawn & respawn settings but no matter what, it was always there at the start of the game even though the scripts clearly said not to spawn until 73 seconds into the game.
It was already going to be in a hallway that opens on those intervals so that is perfect! Now just to script the hallway to open :/ Thanks guys
so what if someone gets stuck in the hallway after it closes? do they have to wait it out until it opens again or is there some sort of way to get out but not in.
Yeah Tyrant brought that up. the "doors" are more of a fence (you can shoot through but not walk through) and there is also a window along he hallway exposing it to the outside, so I decided that if you make the mistake of getting stuck in there then you deserve to be a fish in a barrel for your opponent to kill. The design is intended to be a 1v1, by the way. Depending on how I feel about it after playing it I might make a change to fix it, but in theory it doesn't bother me

Doing a small 1v1 map that just focuses on DamageBoost, Overshield and Light Rifle. I've just been playing it in a more classic Halo1-3 gametype with H2BR, 120% speed/jump and no armor abilities/clamber. Really fun to play. Wanted to go overboard with aesthetics too. If it's a hall you could script a door in the ceiling to open up & drop the power up on the designated times.
