    So, while I was off of Xbox Live for four weeks, I got bored and drew up some maps. Some were good, some were bad(like, REALLY bad), but I was putting all the ideas I had out there. Ultimately, I couldn't bare myself to forge about fifteen maps in two weeks, so I updated Blood Diamond and made Amphitheatre, one of the most classic styled 4v4 layouts I've done.

    The power weapons on the map at the moment are:
    -Sniper(195s)
    -Railgun(225s)
    -Shotgun x2(75s)
    -Plasma Pistol(105s)

    The placed weapons on the map are like any other competitive map, sporting two of each tier 1 automatic and precision weapon, excluding starts. The plasma pistol is placed where the gravity hammer used to and the CE Magnums have been replaced with boltshots.

    Unlike my other maps, flow on this map is focused into a U-shaped tug of war along the cliff side path. This is done by making the map only truly have two lanes: the cliff side and the theatre. the cliff side has wider connectors and more comfortable pathing than the theatre in the center. The theatre is essential to controlling enemy movement by seeing into the enemy base/courtyard and allowing a team to constantly apply pressure until they are wedged out of their position by an enemy push.

    I hope that I may test this map more in the next week, being my university's spring break and all, because right now this map is my pride and joy of forge. Plus, I need a break from all of this Grifball!

    Lookin' good!

    My only concern is the placement of the scatter grenades. They are extremely powerful, and having 2 pairs so close is probably gonna make that hallway gameplay annoying as ****. I would just have one on each side, like the sneakies on coliseum.

    you stole my idea! kind of. ups looks better than the one in my head tho- the amphitheater steps. i wanted to play with the rocket courtyard from ivory tower. your steps look really cool with the grass/turf. i want to try this thing.

    Hey, remember when three people had seen this map a month and a half ago? I barely do.

    Here it is!!!

    So, I've finally come up with an almost final version. I've spiced up the power weapon layout a bit:
    -Sword(195s)
    -SAW w/ no spare mags(135s)
    -Shotgun x2 w/ no spare mags(75s)
    -Needler w/ 2 spare mags(90s)
    Surprisingly the Sword and SAW work phenomenally on this map due to it's highly predictable paths and med-long range sightlines. The power weapons are only really effective as defensive weapons or with heavy amounts of team work.
