Spent a couple more hours catching up instead of doing my homework, so I'm back on track!

I do believe that was the Xbox version because I think some of those were Xzamplez' maps

Yeah, this is on the 360. The PC community is less active.

 

Just made an account on the website. I'll be sure to check it out tomorrow, maybe get into a game or two.

 

I have to warn you that the vast majority of the population is now from Minecraft. The percentage of people who actually play on competitive settings is very small. Recently, their has been an increase in that percent, which is why I started playing again.

 

Is there any way I can safely mass select objects to turn off light baking? Every time I select a bunch and then open up the object menu all the objects spaz out and change their positions.

rebuild your map and turn off lightmap as you go :^)

but really i feel like that's the only way...

 

No dice on grouping, they still seem to spaz out just as frequently. Ive just been using the select all of thing and turning off light mapping unless the pieces spaz out, then I just reload the map lol. I am not enjoying this

I would love it if they added a "turn light bake [on/off] on all unlocked objects" to the section that they have all the similar options. Or even just in the object options have "turn light bake off on all of this object" right under the current light bake option.

 

Can't you just select an object, select all, then turn off light bake?

 

Yeah but 2 flaws:
-That is only 1 type of piece on the entire map, still takes a long time
-When you select multiple objects and open the menu sometimes the objects spaz out and change their positions and rotations so at that point you have walls stick out out everywhere, uneven floors, etc

Yeah that just started with the latest update. You know the updates that are supposed to improve our experience?...

 

Mainly for layout and building support lol I have half the assets built already

 

Valkyrie 117 v2! Full scale air craft carrier I finished recently!

 

I have a very unique map! It's called "Black Sails II"
The map consists of two, full pirate ships side by side! With tall looming masts, still sentinel cannons on the upper and lower decks!
Full capts. Quarters rooms. Teleporters up on the roof tops of the capt. Quarters that lead up to the top of the masts. There are sniper rifles and an energy sword up on the masts. Along with cables connecting the masts! And yes...you CAN run across those cables! Both ships are insane and they took a long time to build! But I am very happy with the outcome! Feel free to bookmark it and play yourselves! It's really fun with a full lobby, and you set the load outs to energy swords and shotguns! ;P
