Hey everyone! Black Picture here from Creative Force and I discovered how to make realistic water. So I'm currently at work on break and decided to make this post. A video on how to make it will be uploaded very soon. I've been working on this to be able to release to the public for 3 weeks now to make sure it works right. We found this trick and wanted to share this with the forge community. This trick i have found works more then just water (colored decals) and will be uploaded more uses soon. Once I get off of work ill update this post being more detailed. Here is a few screen shots until i get back to dress this post up. I hope you guys enjoy! also who has helped on this has been Mythic Fritz (lava), Nitro, Godlyperfection, Who's blaze, gag crusher and Darkprince 909 and a special thanks to Mr. pokephile, demption, a 3 legged goat, iparanormal, debo, lux liberty and Nokyard -Black Picture http://xboxclips.com/Black Picture/9d5ea84a-a7ed-4b41-afad-2a51dd1b8576/embed http://xboxclips.com/Black Picture/85284ae4-6d11-4ec1-bf3b-304fdcb83c80/embed
Great job black picture! This is going to go far! I can't wait to see all of the things forgers come up with using this. I need to utilize this as well.
This would look amazing in @no god anywhere 's remaking however it consumes a large amount of pieces so it may be hard to use on maps that scale any bigger than a typical simplistic 4v4.
Working with black picture when we discovered this was one hell of a secret to keep. This has been fun and I assure that we (forgers, not just creative force) are one step closer to making better looking maps. I am super excited to see what everyone does with this.
The 343i Forge team wants to know when the 'next' video will be out. Can you PM me a teaser pic i can send them?
Maybe the forge team could make a special set of combo-light-decal pieces that will simulate the way this works. With much larger pieces on top of combining the two, it could really help us save on object count.
@NOKYARD I let Cliff know, he said he'll message you soon. Great work on this team. Really great job on making sure you guys got the bugs figured out before spreading the word. I'm pumped to see what the community creates with this. And can't wait to for the next video(s) that showcase the possibilities of this technique. Seriously love the teamwork. Keep it up and we can actually start helping out the community for realz.
If he really wanted to go all out, he could even fit small sideways grav volumes to push objects "downstream"... after rotating the map for the sun, and expanding object count to 2048
