Hi guys, I've been creating levels in video games since I found the first THPS game that had a level creator! I've been making maps in halo since H2, where me and my friends would push the objects around on the pre-made maps! I took a break from forge during Halo 4 since sadly, none of my friends played it. I was struggling finding another game that had a level creator that could stand up to forge, but I just couldn't scratch that itch. I started getting back into forge with MCC but was constantly hitting the limits in its forge mode. Now, with H5, I'm back at it! I don't start out a map with a set plan, maybe a slight idea for a theme, but mostly I just start pulling out blocks and let the map make its self! In H3 and HR I mostly made races or infection maps. Not having those game types means I have to start thinking about weapon placement and spawns set up evenly for slayer and objective game types. I would really like some constructive criticism as far as cover and map layout goes, since I mostly just make cool environments as opposed to forging with gameplay in mind. I hope I didn't over sell myself or anything, I just wanted to use this as a somewhat of an introduction, I hope that's okay. Anyway, to my current projects!
