*__Rugby Stadium__* Welcome to the world of pro rugby, where normality takes a backseat to pure sweat-soaked competition, and tides turn at the most inopportune moments. You have just entered a realm of pure athleticism. The focus of this map is to provide a new and exciting game variant to the Halo community, while being original and practical. This is a sport based map that incorporates increasingly tactical situations keeping you captivated and entertained as the round progresses. There are two gametypes intended for this map one of which is an oddball variant, the other assault. Recommended amount of players is 8-16 who have a moderate level of maturity. The map itself is very simple and is fairly easy to comprehend, except when starting out. There is a brief disorientation when in the locker rooms but as you proceed down the hallway you will find a door that will teleport you onto the field. The Gametypes 1. Oddball (AKA Pro Rugby Adv.) is a gametype that is played by having your team hold the ball the longest to score points. This may seem simple, but the tactics involved are far more complex. For example, you can pass the ball to a teammate when you have low shields preventing the opposing team from capturing the oddball, you are also given gravity hammers to propel the ball across the map, and you can throw the ball into a gravity lift to confuse your opponents only to run forward and catch it again. Whatever other tactics you come up with can surely benefit you and your team. 2. Assault (AKA Pro Rugby Rules) is a gametype played with two teams trying to transport the bomb across the opposition's goal line. The gametype is relatively the same as oddball except for some minor variations. This is the hardest gametype available for this map, because it presents more of a challenge. Same basic tactics apply for this variant as you are still trying to transport the ball to avoid confrontation with the other team. The Map This map contains several features not found in many sports game variants. For example, there is a set of stands with barrels that spawn over time, cameras on the walls, and stadium lights situated throughout the map. This map is really fun I had lots of fun testing it and so did everyone else in the party also this post is awesome sauce very well structured I am downloading now. (needs more Cowbell.)
At first i wasn't enjoying myself but that quickly changed when i understood the nuances to the game. A great addition to the casual map sections and i will definitely be playing this with friends. Success!
Play it before you pass judgment if you actually played it you would realize it is much much different.
I do agree with both sides of the comments above. It does look like you took the Grif Ball Court and I do believe you need to download something before you judge it. Downloading right now.
yes it is almost the same as the GB court, i personally was there to test and it is that assassinations for kills and gravity launching is the best plan for the game since its is a team odd ball base gameplay, but none the less it is a great game^^ and a great time filler^^ i say good job
wow i thought this looked like grifbal but i downloaded it and played it and it is sooo much better! great job with the bleachers! better than the blank wall we're all used to seeing! this is the best think sence sliced bread. six out of five
