Still ****ing **** up ( in a good way) after over 30 years. My favorite metal band ever aside from TOOL. The version on the disc of this song is a little better. The vocals have much more of a punch and are clearer. If I come across a better version, I'll replace this one.
So here are my Top 5 Songs Released in 2015. To comply with the thread rules, I have only posted 4 music videos that I thought were true music videos and not the "lyric-only" version. Enjoy!! 5. Fan The Flames - Sheer Mag If you don't mind a little Thin Lizzy or Skynyrd riffs, then I would definitely recommend you check this band out. 4. Trying - Bully How can you not love Alicia Bognanno? I would have put "Brainfreeze" instead but unfortunately that song was released in 2013. Nevertheless this song talks about the theme of being unease and it's something most of us can relate to in our lives. 3. I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times) - Jamie XX Having been introduced to Jamie XX a couple of years ago with the song "Far Nearer", I knew there was still more to be seen of this producer, and I was right. Even though this song was not my #1 overall, it certainly was my Song of the Summer. Too catchy. 2. The Night Josh Tillman Came To Our Apartment - Father John Misty Pull up the lyrics while you listen to this song and you'll understand why it's in my Top 5. The album itself, to me, is AOTY (Album of the Year). 1. Norf Norf - Vince Staples Ah yes...Vince Staples. Just how I like my hip hop: under the radar. There's something to be said about releasing a double album but releasing a debut double album that's not only lyrically profound but memorable with tracks such as "Norf Norf" which is about living on the norfside (north side) of Long Beach, CA. I'm pretty sure my Spotify stats will have this song as my "most played".
I'm sure most of you heard this a while ago, but if not, the whole album is great. My favorite song is "Long Drive" #6 23:27
