Awesome, i'm sure this will help a lot of people out. To anyone who tries this turrets and weapons are likely to cause a crash if attempted to weld.
Regarding vehicles at least, the trick to not crashing is making sure that the vehicle is not the parent of the group. Edit. I've just tested it, you can do it on weapons without crashing. The parent thing is the source of the crashing. Edit. Also works on turrets. Don't forget the parent thing.
