My focus for every Forge that comes out is to remake Quake maps and the Quake feel/look for fresh maps.

I have done a poorly blocked out map to do some Quake feel/lighting tests. Might actually work this map into something playable but not sure just yet.

Its not ready to be a posted map, so I am just throwing this out there to get some thoughts and maybe some lighting ideas/tips.

I really do wish 343 added some more interesting texture options.

Nice! This reminds me of playing Quake 3 with the textures turned off haha. Are you working on any specific Quake maps? I was thinking of doing Aerowalk and The Camping Grounds

I have a fondness for Quake 1 maps. The hardest thing is trying to block out maps without them looking weird or the performance being rubbish. Also, some maps are tricky without water volumes. Slowly getting to grips with the new Forge, so I want to push onto trying to remaking some PainKeep maps and some other cool CTF maps.

I try and remake DM4 every time Forge appears, alongside the Longest Yrs, which I have no managed to finish!

The other hard thing is getting curves correct, which makes some Q2 and Q3 maps pretty tricky to replicate.

Yeah I'm dreading doing the curved section of The Camping Grounds by the Rail Gun o_O
