Is the BacMook Pro worth buying? I'm thinking about getting it for my birthday this weekend.

there are a lot better choices out there, but if you really want a mac, thats the best one, if you dont need a mac OS then here are some good windows sites

    www.dell.com
best stock computers out there, have had like 3 none have failed

    www.newegg.com
best custom comp building site, best prices

    www.alienware.com
if you want expensive, reliable products

    *all site info IMO

Yes. The MacBook Pro is the best laptop currently on the market. Hands down.

I'd get a MacBook Pro, but then load it up with Windows or something. MacOSX infuriates me to no ends.

How did this so easily turn into a 'Mac suxxorz' debate already?

Oh, right. Well, let's try to stay on topic.

I wouldn't use Vista either...In fact, I'd prefer Mac OSX to Vista. XP>Mac>Vista

I recommend buy parts off of www.newegg.com and then building it your self. Its also a lot cheaper and you get what you want not what companies want you to have. I myself have built a computer of off newegg, and my step dad saved about close to 1000 dollars by building it himself.

Pros are good computers, but if you arent getting it for Cinimatography or Photography, go with a PC, because you can do more.

I have a Dell XPS M1530 with vista and a lot of RAM (4). I havnt had any compatibility issues with vista, and my computer looks super sexy. If you want even more sexy, go with the M1330, its the light and godly version of mine. You get more for your money, and Dell is a great company, their changing with the times, and Ive had great experiances with their customer service.

    Check it out.

Edit/PS: My mom has a MacBook (regular) and it makes me want to puke. Its slow, the trackpad sucks, and it has a cheap, trendwhorish design. For realz if you aren't a brain dead computer user, PCr4u!
