Everything's to scale, every old jump. and every restriction the old halos had with the new spartan abilities In mind. Unfortunately no water in the middle because its not a forge option and I needed basements...Sight lines were kept in mind when also creating this..Let me know what everyone thinks

Looks good so far from what I can see in the photo's. The arch of the rocks in the center to get up to rockets are a bit disconnected looking due their size / merge. Try slightly larger rocks if you can or mesh them a bit more if possible.

Ill mess around with it. It was the only way i could get a slope that people can run up without using huge rocks and jumping every second up it. Ill merge them together a lil more. Thanks!

The trees are too large for a map like this. They really didnt include small trees or bushes...which wouldve been great...the larger ones people can hide in if you put them anywhere but on the sides of the maps.

Ohhhh, so I figured out something awesome while looking at your map. My roommate was watching me tinker with stuff on your Beaver Creek while teaching my cousin online how to use the forge and stumbled across how to make water illusion with foot splashes and the water sound! You would want to choose rock piece or block piece that is flat on the top, but has to be tall enough that it just touches the actual water below your map, that will actually apply the foot splashing and water sloshing sound. Next you would want to add invisible lighting, change the option to POINT, not SPOT and this will allow you to add a GOBO option once it appears. There is lights called Caustic, but basically add two lights with different water patterns and one being a light blue and the other a darker blue. It doesn't have depth to it, but it gives the appearance of water. If you lower it and spread it as much as possible you can try to reduce the light that falls on the spartan. It would require multiple lights in the river bed to achieve it though.

About the map - The walk through shows a nice scaling for things, however there are a lot of ill placed rocks, some of the walkways look more like rocks about to fall as opposed to worn in travel paths and they didn't merge well so there was a gap between at least one. Also there was an excessive over used amount of rocks to create the outer boundry. Last but not least may be something you didn't know, but the terrain pieces capture the terrain below it, so all of your ground looks wet like it was drying up after a flood... What you should do is group the bases entirely and the floor terrain and drag the whole map and turn it so that the bases are over dry land and the river bed is just over the actual stream on the terrain. This will make just your water area appear wet and will improve the look of the map dramatically.

If you prefer I can explain it in person if this was written confusingly.

I did the water effect from a post i saw on reddit, same thing u explained...The water looked corny. I thought about grouping it all and moving it but its 1000 objects. Thats alot of grouping especially if I miss a few pc's.

The outer rocks if your referring to red side was to block the glare of the sun. In some positions people would look up at red base from OS and get blinded like in some of 343'S maps. Whats your gamertag? I'd like to go through it and make adjustments.

fame28 is my gamertag, I'm working on a Narrows Remake right now, but you can group certain sections together and move them to start like all of the floor pieces as one category and the rocks around as another. That will open up space to select all of your building pieces.

I grouped everything together and moved it to land.....There were some issues at first. Objects flew all over the place I had to delete a bunch of red base and redo it. Weapons and objects for some reason changed to fixed position after grouping and when it moved they collided with one another and flew away lol...I was pissed at first but fixed it.
