GENERAL FORGE FEEDBACK / FEATURE REQUEST If you have any ideas or suggestions for new Forge Features, please share them here.
Feature Request Item preview screen slower boost speed Trees that you can knock over/destroy Ability to add water features I heard that you cannot switch teams in forge mode (havent looked into it myself) so add that
Item preview Scripting trigger volumes Grav lift volume Some people wants the EMP back Wood! Sand! Dirt road pieces/Dirt Canvas
Questioning their decision to let objects despawn in forge mode. When a piece is despawned you aren't given any indication that it exists in forge outside of the object count. Having to go to customs to test object spawning in H2A was really annoying, but seemed like a necessary evil. Scripting Triggers: haven't seen anything that makes me think events can occur based on Spartan proximity. Trait Zones: Incredibly useful tools, especially when gametype settings are missing so many trait options. Can't believe they thought these were acceptable to remove. Gravity Volumes: Useful, why remove? Kill balls: Seriously? Infection/dominion shields: Any pieces work like these? Destructible and team-oriented?
More than one control scheme for flight controls would be nice. Being able to use the right analog stick to rotate objects. I must be the only person who used it a lot.
Flat versions of the Alpine and Glacier pallets, or at least their skyboxes on Parallax would be awesome. Alpine and Glacier are great, but they're both so hilly
I have a soccer ball with normal physics. The only way I can move it is by running into it or driving into it. Shooting it doesn't move it. Melee doesn't move it. Spartan charge doesn't move it. Even shooting it with a rocket launcher doesn't move it. All of the other toys in the same exact menu can be moved by all those means. Why am I unable to move the soccer ball in those ways? Makes no sense. Thank you to whoever moved my post into here. If this behavior isn't a bug this just really frustrates me. Where is the logic behind putting these restrictions on a ball when all the other toys behave like you'd expect them to behave.
Suggestion: Spheres&Domes, Hallow and filled, various sizes. I know that there are terrain hills/bowls that fill this role to some degree, but I want to make a dome cathedral kind of building, so some primitives would be cool.
Yeah, I probably would use my own terrain most of the time anyways, but the terrain on those 2 is pretty overdone
I really miss having leafy trees (and dead trees, and palm trees, and alien trees, even though we never had those before). Basically, make more trees. Some bushes couldn't hurt, either.
If I'm not mistaken, weapon pads can't be adjusted so the designated weapon spawns after the match has started. Currently whatever weapon I choose for the pad is there as soon as everyone spawns. I figured out I can time when the weapon itself spawns, but there's no fancy way to display it like the pad does.
Plain bushes would be nice. Flowery bushes where you can change the color of the flowers would be nicer. It would be helpful for sure when making a courtyard for a mansion like building or something. Alternatively, just having individual flowers to place would be interesting.
- Less polygons *No rounded edges on blocks *No grooves/cuts - Missing pieces *Quarter cylinders *Sizes that get skipped - Better organization (Rings specifically, Blocks are great)
Flats should be flat in addition to the sloped edges. Could always use more. Think outside of the box, snag anything from campaign or multiplayer that already have build assets. *Leafy trees *Plaza trees *overgrowth vines *massive Cliffside walls with no_light/transparent back
Desert canvas and terrain pieces. Halo ce/2 texture/color packs. FORGE OFFLINE Boot option Local files Undo button (Only local or online, either would be fine) Classic controls (at least an option for when we do weapons and spawns) Select all (select 64) Radius select
The 32 x 32 x 2 primitive does not have the same width as other 32' blocks such as the 32 x 32 x 32. See [image].
