So, Chronmeister, what sort of scripting elements do you plan on implementing once Forge is released? Also, will the name "Loaded" be the official title of this map, or will is it just a placeholder?
I probably wont be the one doing a ton of scripting, but I may add a few small elements to my maps here and there. I think the platform behind the crane will have a console that will swing the crane and lift the box allowing for a thrust jump onto the high platform with the fusion coils. One thing that you may not be able to see from the pictures that I think will be a blast in Halo 5 is the crane. You can jump onto the top of it from the control room, and in Halo 5, that position will allow a Ground Pound to anywhere surrounding the ship. That is a huge area and I'm looking forward to seeing how that plays out. The name will stay unless I can think of something more fitting.
And what of the map's weapon selection? Are you final in placing just two battle rifles, a sniper rifle, the non-existent brute shot, and an over shield? You state that this map will support slayer variants from the minimum of 2-4 players, and to a maximum of 8 player lobbies, right? Well, then, what is the basis for such a common weapon(s) choice?
@ITsProxy , the optimal player count for H2a would probably be 3v3 , but only 2v2 in halo5. I'm sure with all the sprinting and thrusting, any more than four players would be chaos. I like the sniper in Halo 5 because I actually use it so I'll definitely keep that where it's at. Overshield seems too OP for a 2v2 though. I'll probably replace it with camo and Ill replace Brute Shot with a Hydra. I'm not sure about the BR's yet. I think I want a light rifle and plasma rifle on the map as well.
