Will do. My GT is the same as it is here: Mr Bouncerverse. I want to thank all of you for the wonderful advice you've given me. It's really nice to see fresh perspectives and I'll likely end up coming back to this thread to look over the advice you've given again and again. I hope nobody feels as if their post has been overlooked. I've read every single one; I just didn't think it would be necessary to quote each one when I honestly don't have much to say, other than expressing my gratitude. I'll add you guys and gladly help test when you're ready. I'll also make sure to post my own forging results in the "What are you working on?" thread whenever I get something going. Thanks again!
Jump in and make stuff. Start crazy and iterate till it feels good. It's too easy to get caught up watching tutorials and overthinking pretty much anything you want to learn. Sounds like the best thing you can do at this point is to dive in and make stuff. A general outline of what kind of map you want to make will help get started but don't feel too tied to the initial idea. If you have an ahah moment while playing with shapes you should totally run with it and see where it leads. When forge drops and the customs get going I'm sure most people will be down to help out. The social side of forge is one of it's draws after all. GT: The Bilzo
