Skyfall is an asymmetric 1v1 2v2 map I've been working on for the past month or so on and off. So far the tests I've played have been pretty good and hopefully I can refine it a bit more.

    As always feedback is welcome.

About 75% of the map is pretty vertical and has a truly unique and awesome atmosphere. For example, I absolutely love the shotgun spawn and the overhang above it.

The geometry throughout the map is just really cool, but I just wish that you did the same thing on red spawn! Every time I walked through that area I just wanted to leave and go play on the awesome side, lol. In all seriousness, I really think you should go back and redesign the red spawn to be consistent with the rest of the maps geometry. Something else that I got from that side of the map was overscaling. While I only played a 1v1, I still have a strong feeling that the map is a bit too large, even for 2v2 gameplay.

Personally, I would pull the red side in closer to the middle of the map and add overlap. This would ensure consistent gameplay, geometry and aesthetics while preserving the play space with levels.

Overall, Skyfall has a ton of potential and I hope that you continue to develope this map!

I'm glad you like 75% of the map. Haha. Yea red side is a bit different than the rest of the map. I might just scale it down a bit and see how it plays like that. I'll just have to see what I can come up with.

Thanks for the feedback. Thats that kinda stuff I'm looking for.
