So, I've finished another map. Yes, it is 1v1 and it is asymmetrical.

I wanted to make octagonal platforms and rooms that connected to one another. Obviously, player movement is supposed to be in a circular motion, which I prefer, but you have the opportunity to throw your opponent off by cutting in and out of the center room. Failing to jump across the center room will cost you, though, so I hope you can jump!

    Here's a vid for you: http://xboxclips.com/EightTheLegend/091460c5-98d1-41bf-9075-8219418d3d38

Feedback from the video is welcome. Please voice concerns, if you've any. I have played the map multiple times with a buddy, but I could always use more opinions/ criticisms. Leave your GT is you want to check out the map, or play it.

Big thanks to The Muppet King. He helped me with trying to make sure the map connected well.

Weapons include: Sentinel Beam (Spawns on teleporter platform.) Sniper (Spawns on outside platform).

The map is in my fileshare.<3

    Silly B&rith, lrn2read.

This looks neat. I really like the ledges and the vertical engagements they'll create as well as the movement options they'll provide. I like the OS placement, but I didn't see any power weapons in the video. Maybe I missed something? I definitely like your mixture of concrete and metal textures as it creates great contrast and gives the map a very clean and consistent look. I have two concerns. First, I see absolutely no reason why anyone in their right mind would want to cross bottom mid given how exposed it is. Second, I'm afraid that some of the encounters around the outside of the map might be monotonous. Some of the exterior routes are predominantly flat and linear with little in the way of sightlines allowing them to interact with the rest of the map. I'd have to play it, though. I could be wrong about both of those. I'd love to play it!

    Also, inb4Cockulus.

This map is esthetic ally appealing and I love how you have created small walkways on the walls. However I feel like this map has routes that are way to direct. I didn't see anywhere were I could really flank an enemy. Like duck said that bottom area in the centre would never get any gamplay. Room based designs always work well, I just think this need a bit of refining. Keep up the good work though.
