Well, first of all, Its not 100% metal, so you have failed.

Seriously, though, its seems a bit small for 8 players, but It could be just fine. Would have to play it.

Reminds me a lot of a map DG Intesity made in h4.
That reminds me of all of the good forgers that fell off the face of the internet during or after halo 4.
That reminds me of 343 and all of its failures.
    Just a black eye, eh?

I think it is too small for 8 players as well but yeah, it would have to be played first. May I ask what map it was if you remember? I am curious to see now. Your post makes me sad by the way :( lol

Loving the design, Box. It's cleanly forged as well. As I'm looking at the overview pic of the map, I'm trying to imagine 4v4 on this, and while it may be possible, I could see the gameplay being fast-paced (My favorite). I'm going to download this today for sure, man.

I really don't remember what the map was called, but I'll try and find it.

Really nice looking map overall. Only a few things I would change or toy around with from what I can see.

Firstly, the glass bridge that has a ramp at the end, I feel you should just change that to a ramping bridge. It's on a 45 degree angle I think and I'd assume that's more than likely the reasoning behind it but that little bit extra work would look a lot nicer as well as function slightly better. It would lower the ability to use the ramp as a 'head glitch' and backing up into the cover of the incline itself because of it gradually decline rather than suddenly. Another thing this will do is lower the lights of sight to the bottom halls from the bridge. Depends how you prefer that.

The geometry cover seems well space though I would add dynamic cover to some areas. For example, in the 4th screenshot on the balcony behind the pillar I would definitely suggest adding a crate or structural cover that you are able to jump on and hide behind simply to change up engagements and allow slightly safer traffic since it's the long way around. This may also help any respawns back there to have cover.

Adding a dropdown from top green into plasma pistol may be a good idea as well. I don't see that area being used a lot. this wouldn't exactly encourage people to go down there but it would give the option if needed.

Some of the diagonal lines of sights could be cut a little better in my opinion too. However, that's very personal preference based. If you share the feeling that they are awkward, I would suggest making some of the higher areas hallways to be 1 width (teleporter frame). If you made this change it might change the way the map plays a lot because people would no longer want to stay in those hallways at all, I'd think.

Don't take these critiques as the map isn't good. As always, the map looks great and I'll tell you exactly what I like about it when I get to at least jump around. :) Hope this helps. If I think of anything more I'll edit this post and send you a message to let you know. Lastly, if you have any questions about what I hae suggested, I'll do better to explain or edit some screens up in paint to show you since I don't ave an xbox at the moment.

As always, thanks for the great feedback :)

The glass bridge I can definitely agree on, I am working on that as I type this

I was going to put some grenades down by plasma pistol and now that you mention it I can remove the middle walkway cover to be used as a drop down. I think it is a good idea now that i am staring at it

Some of the LOS are a little weird, where specifically would you suggest these 1x1 hallways? I wanted to keep the angle where you could pick up sniper and shoot people lifting, that is just something I would like to do. From hallway to hallway there are pretty odd sight lines, they work, but are pretty small. I would like to touch them up so I will see what I can do.

A crate like by the railing or more behind the base ? I assume closer to railing but let me know if im wrong.

Thanks again I wish you had your xbox haha. I did another walk through as I made it look a little better and cut down on objects with a few changes here and there. Nothing huge though. I will make another updated walk through when I finish going over these changes you suggest.

Plasmas are always good in a place like that. Anywhere you may need a little help getting out of is a good place for grenades if you ask me, so I second that.

That was actually the line of sight I was talking about. I agree that it wuld be fun, I'm sure it would work either way. Just do it how you feel will be the most fun then. :)

The crate or lower structural cover I feel should be on the railing side, yes.

The updates are looking good though, keep it up. I'll have an xbox again soon enough.

I had noticed one other thing. Where you have the shallow ramps, there are three of them. I think you could make the one that runs into the wall just a block, there ill be a little lip there so you couldn't walk from the bottom but I don't think they would negatively impact gameplay and it would look a lot better. In my opinion of course.

Box_Knows aims so damn high – fittingly, since his map ‘Transit’ literally floats atop clouds – that it’s a wonder it successfully hits any of its lofty goals at all. But it does hit them, again and again. A stunning original map complete with gorgeous scenery. A map with fully fleshed-out, memorable pieces that deliver a real emotional impact. A great layout and even greater gameplay. New and thrilling ways of traveling and changing the gameplay around you. A design twist most people won't see coming. Even when it does occasionally miss, another hit follows so quickly that the stumble almost feels like a setup to increase the effect. ‘Transit’ comes through as a true, worthy follow-up to ‘Verona’, one of the most-renowned maps of this generation. In my book, it becomes one itself.

Box Knows – a forger that’s made a name for himself in eschewing predictability and is known for brutish map designs who earned our sympathy in his staunch protection of the Competitive Halo scene – somehow makes a map built on the clouds seem plausible. It's a place that feels alive. ‘Transit’ has its own history and hierarchy, to a degree that most maps – or forgers of any genre, for that matter – can’t even aspire. It's created using a vibrant color palette and a unified vision of a twisted, jingoistic take on a competitive arena style map. Simultaneously, no two of its many diverse areas ever feel alike. All these elements give this fantastical map a sterling sense of genuine place.

EDIT: ^ Sarcasm, but all sarcasm aside, this is actually a pretty damn good map. I'm not one who usually likes his maps, I'm actually one his biggest critics; but this map is actually good.

Im guessing you two know each other? Oh and why are you a better forger than me? lol, on a serious note, Verona is definitely not one of the most-renowned maps of this generation. Im not trying to insult the map, but lying about it really doesn't make sense as we are all aware of the "renowned" maps.

Thanks! I spent a lot of time on this haha. I still want to get some games on this so I can keep fixing it up, I only played one game on here and that was before this version. I'm hoping we can get another lobby like last week, I had a lot of fun playing all the maps.

This map needs a tunnel. As is, it is a nice looking 4v4 that should play really well.

Nice map! May be better for large 2v2's and FFA's? Hit me up when you get a game on it!

I only have got one chance to play it and it was 4v4 koth. It played pretty good I had to make some changes but I think 4v4 was just fine. I am sure 2v2 and FFA would work as well. I was in your party last night lol, I am not sure if you knew that but I will add you right now.

Tunnel looks really good. I think it is just what the map needed. I hope to play on this with you soon. This is definitely your best map and it's nice to see you back in forge polishing it up.
