    Hello everyone,
this is a map I've been working on lately. I want to craft it for HCS 3 although I'm new to forging competitive maps. I would really appreciate useful feedback.

Sideview - As you can see it isn't finished at all

    Base is protected

Windows are removed (You can only harm the enemy base, nobody can remove his own "shields")

View from red base with removed windows

The idea is a small point-symmetric fast paced arena style map with an interactive element that is difficult to use, but harms the enemy a lot, plus adds a lot more sightlines. I could see it as a good CTF/Assault map.
The basic ground of the map should look like a 3D sinus curve from Pi to 2Pi.

    Thoughts?

I think the bases should be more interesting.

Can you be more specific, please? The whole map is intended to be a minimalistic temple structure. ;)

I think the sightlines are too long, as a player i wouldn't feel safe to move around the map. It's good to be simplistic but you need to provide structures that players find interesting to use for their movement. I think you basic style is very nice, you could go for that cubic temple look, be creative ;)

The bases don't really have anywhere for the player to spawn in them. When designing a base you want either want a sprawling base like the pit or sanctuary where depth comes from the size or if you have a smaller base you need to have distinct separate levels so a team can fight out of the base more effectively by giving them a safer spawn like midship.
